Daily we toil at land and sea.

We are pushed forward by a network of needs.

We are inspired to survive even when survival is nearly guaranteed. So we survive in excess.

Our constructs have made us babies. We’ve given up freedom for comfort.

A ship sits at the end of every road to remind us we should be at least a tad uneasy.
